Victoria Migneco

Research Technician

Victoria is from Jackson, NJ and spent formative summers of her childhood at her grandparents' house in Long Beach Island learning about the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology and environmental science from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, she was selected as a research intern at AWSC where she gained valuable research and outreach experiences. In her current role as Research Technician, Victoria works on various research projects such as individual white shark identification for the on-going White Shark Catalog and aerial observational studies using UAS (unmanned aerial system) technologies.
