Marianne Walsh

Education Director

Marianne is responsible for overseeing all AWSC education and outreach programs, as well as actively participating in strategic planning, development, and administration. She is a licensed science teacher in Massachusetts and experienced educator. She has been working in both formal and informal education for over 10 years, developing curriculum, leading programs, creating resources, and providing training for other educators. Marianne is one of the co-founders of the Gills Club and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of ocean stewards. Marianne is a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Marine Educators and has a Bachelor of Science from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina.
