Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Cynthia and her husband Ben started the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy in 2012 to support groundbreaking white shark research and to champion education and community engagement initiatives. In her role as CEO, she has overall strategic and operational responsibility for AWSC’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of the nonprofit’s mission. Prior to AWSC, Cynthia spent her career working for online trading companies in the energy industry with a focus on project management and strategic planning. Cynthia holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from University of New Hampshire.
